Winnipeg Pride is a 10-day festival with many events for all segments of our diverse community all leading up to our main PRIDE DAY celebrations on Sunday June 8, 2008. As a small volunteer organization, we try to focus producing quality events that are available to the GLBT Community as a whole. These OFFICIAL Pride events are mostly free to the public to come and enjoy. Our only ticketed event is our Dance Party which raises funds to help keep our other events free of charge.
To make Winnipeg Pride more fabulous, we help promote other community events during the Pride Festival that are organized by supporting community organizations.

Winnipeg Pride Festival Events
Throughout the Pride Festival, the Winnipeg Lesbian & Gay Pride Committe organize a set of other core events that run year after year with great success. These are:
The ceremonial kick-off to Winnipeg Pride. This year we will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Rainbow Flag becoming a symbol of Pride and diversity. Friday, June 6 at 12:00 p.m., City Hall 510 Main Street.
The biggest dance event of the year for Winnipeg's GLBTT community. The party everyone talks about.

Community Events
Along with the core Pride Events, many community organizations run other events during Pride Week, enhancing the Winnipeg Pride Festival.
